Nesting Osprey

While kayaking with friends, we saw in the distance an Osprey nest high atop a dead tree. With our telephoto lenses we were able to enjoy observing this nesting pair as well as watching them fish along the river.

Many photos were taken that day and I choose to capture this scene with my paints!

Ospreys were removed from the Vermont endangered and threatened species list in 2005.
